Fuse Box!

My Lucas fuse box cover arrived at Avoca beach a regional area just outside Sydney on 23 December.

It looks really good. They got the colour right to imitate polished Bakelite.

First Class Service

Hi Julia,

 

I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help yesterday.  When I initially telephoned about my urgent need for particular alternator, you appeared not to have one in stock for next day delivery.  However, you must have done some further research because you then took the trouble to ring me back to say that you had located one.  What’s more, it arrived on my doorstep shortly before 10am this morning.

 

Truly, that is more than first class service and I am extremely grateful.  My thanks too to Matt who, having just arrived at the office at 0800 hrs this morning, made the time to locate the tracking number and ring me back with it so that I could chase the parcel from my end.  I could not be more impressed with AES. Unfortunately for you, I am just a private classic car enthusiast and therefore unlikely to be bringing you thousands of pounds worth of business, but such alternators and other bits that I may need in the future will definitely be sourced from you!

Superb!

Hi,

 

Thanks for supplying the headlamp and harness in record time. Just to let you know that the lens fit perfectly and the wiring harness had to be modified (very little) by shortening the leads & removing the sheath (I guess it was designed for a car). The only problem I had fitting it was one of historical blindness... I connected the leads colour to colour into the BSA harness and found the sidelight going out when the headlight bulb was switched on.

must have been two minutes before I remembered that the Beezer was positive earth...

Swapped leads...

Result.

 

 

Very impressed with my purchase and being able to see where I'm going again (takes some getting used to, one single H4 against the modern lights in my Audi...!)
