ViewBespoke Dynator Units
As well as offering a range of Dynators to replace the more common Lucas and other dynamos, we can also make you a bespoke unit to suit your vehicle. The easiest way to proceed in this situation is to send us your dynamo, and we will then give you a price to replicate it, but as an alternator. If acceptable, the old unit will then be returned to you together with the 'Dynator' version. If you do not wish to proceed, we will simply return your old dynamo back to you.
As a rough guide, units cost between £250 and £450, depending on the complexity of the machining involved and whether it is 12V or 6V (£50 more) and whether it is for a negative earth or positive earth (£50 more) vehicle.
